Class of 2007 excels in O level exams!

The 2007 B Div South Zone team ready for competition, consisting of six graduating players turning up for their final year in Catholic High colours.

Every one of the graduating 2007 basketball team managed to qualify for JC admission after their O level results were released on Thursday. They had all scored less than 20 points after counting their L1R5 (First language and 5 required) subject grades.

CH beats Henderson for second successive SZ win

25 Jan (Fri) – CCAB Bukit Timah

Catholic High romped to a 91-42 victory over Henderson Sec in a first round South Zone Group A match.

Henderson kept the scores close in an excellent first quarter. Combined Schools player Benny (#8, HSS) scored 5 of his 17 points in the first quarter with accurate shooting to lead his team to an early 6-2 lead. CH fought back to lead the first quarter narrowly 15-14.

New sec 1 students get a taste of CH basketball training!

Early morning physical conditioning sessions are a familiar sight in Catholic High!

Is it tough adjusting from primary school to secondary school? You bet!

Just imagine- from a 4-subject course in primary school to a 9-subject course in secondary school… not to mention the compulsory CCA requirement for every student! And in Catholic High, sports are also tackled with a passion!

CH overwhelms Pei Cai Sec for first South Zone win!

Catholic High never looked back after opening up an 11-0 run in the first quarter to record a morale boosting 71-34 win over Pei Cai Sec on 18 Jan (Mon). It was the opening boys’ match of the South Zone basketball tournament.

One of the more highly anticipated match should be against Raffles Institution! But I’m sure we’re not underestimating any of the other teams as well! All matches will be played at CCAB Bukit Timah.

Farewell to James Hong

It was with happy but heavy hearts when we gave a farewell party to James on 12 Jan (Sat) at his place.

His family will be going to Colorado, USA for a work attachment and will be leaving next month.
