Clementi Sports Hall, Wednesday, 22 July, 09 -- The odds were stacked against Catholic High from the start, with the team needing to record an 8-point win against west zone champions Unity Sec to qualify.

Yet despising the odds, Catholic High came prepared with a game plan and looked promising at the start, especially with both Aaron Wong and Leong Wei Hao scoring 3-pointers at the start. CH led at 8-4 with a flying start.

CH C Division bounce back with satistactory win over Dunman High

Clementi Sports Hall, Monday, 20 July, 2009 -- Catholic High rode on an emphatic 21-8 run in the final quarter to record a morale boosting 79-55 win over a fast tiring Dunman High team.

CH forward Leong Wei Hao (#4) led the team with 13 points in final period as they relied mainly on counter-attacking fast breaks to rack up the points.

CH C Division boys succumb to North Vista in lacklustre showing

Clementi Sports Hall, Wednesday, 15 July, 2009 -- In the end, time eventually ran out on the boys’ comeback efforts. But really, they left it too late and gave up too many points in the second and third quarter to give themselves any chance.

The team did start of quite well by denying the North Vista boys points in the first quarter with a zonal defense. Keeping North Vista’s main player Myron Lim outside the paint, the North Vista offense failed to pose much of a threat in the first quarter.

Quarter finalist opponent South Korea proves too strong for Singapore Fiba 33 boys

Anglican High School, Friday, 3 July, 2009 -- In the end, the quarter final hurdle proved too great for the gallant Singaporeans.

Having to negotiate past the skilful South Korean side just hours after a hard-fought victory over India, Jabez Su and company simply ran out of gas. It was a classic example of “the spirit being willing, but the flesh is weak.”
