Singapore Basketball Centre, Tuesday, 17 Nov, 2009 -- It was the final and most crucial match of the first round as this particular match decided whether Catholic High would advance to the next round or not.

The first quarter started with a series of fast breaks by Mayflower Secondary as they exploited many offensive opportunities despite the strong resistance put up by Catholic High. They displayed a fiery and aggressive fast paced first quarter game to snatch a 5 point lead as the buzzer sounded.

Catholic High succumbs to UWC in ACSIS U16 Boys Final

UWC, Sat, 7 Nov, 2009 -- UWC stopped Catholic High’s run of wins in the ACSIS competition with a well deserved 48-39 win in the finals.

UWC led all the way with key centre Prithvi getting a host of rebounds but had to contend with a late Catholic High rally.

However, they managed to hold on for a win.

Woodlands Ring Sec holds on for win over Catholic High in ACSIS U16 semis

Catholic High School, Wed, 4 Nov, 2009 – It was a closely fought game throughout.

Catholic High School started brightly with a 13-6 first quarter lead but it was soon all square by halftime when Woodlands Ring Sec pressed with a full court man-to-man defense.

Woodlands Ring Sec managed to take the lead in the second half and held on for the win despite a furious rally by the home team in the final few minutes.

Woodlands Ring’s centre En Jia scored the final basket of the game for a 29-26 win.
