CH B Div team beaten in friendly against Hwa Chong

Catholic High School, Friday, 26 Feb, 2010 -- Hwa Chong Institution (JC) underlined their favourite status for the A division boys title with a huge 97-37 win over Catholic High’s B division team.

Russel Low, Jabez Su and Subhas from Hwa Chong Institution led all scores with double digit scoring and rebounding in a game which they led from start till the end.

Though the host team tried to get back in the final quarter with lots of home support, Hwa Chong still managed to hold on for a 60-point victory.

CH suffers season ending loss to Peirce in b division

CCAB, Friday, 19 Feb, 2010 -- Despite the loss, I am proud of the team’s efforts and team spirit, which remained at a high level throughout the preparation and tournament. It was obvious that everyone wanted to qualify very much, but we lost to our opponents who also performed very well today.

CH beats Kent Ridge to set up final group match in b division south zone

CCAB, Wed, 17 Feb, 2010 -- Catholic High may have won their match against Kent Ridge quite comfortably, but the crucial decider for the semi final slot and more importantly, the nationals lie on Friday against Peirce Sec.

The game will be all the more crucial seeing that Peirce beat RI by 11 points, which means that Catholic High must win by more than 8 points to go through.
